Vineeta Hariharan is a distinguished public policy expert with extensive experience in policy formulation, implementation, and stakeholder engagement at both national and international levels. She holds degrees from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.

In her career, Vineeta has held senior management positions in both the public and private sectors in India. She has collaborated with bilateral and multilateral organizations, including the Department for International Development (DFID) and the World Bank, engaging with senior bureaucrats and political leaders to shape and lead the implementation of flagship programs across various Indian government ministries.

Her expertise spans rural and urban development, livelihoods, and enterprise development. Notably, she served as Chief of Programs handling Externally Aided Missions at the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), where she managed international collaborations to support MSME growth in India.

Vineeta's contributions have been recognized with the Woman of Excellence Award from the Indian Achiever’s Forum, honoring her outstanding impact in public policy.

Beyond her professional roles, Vineeta is a sought-after public speaker and thought leader on nation-building topics. She serves on the boards of leading global institutes and mentors social foundations dedicated to empowering women and girls. Additionally, she has a literary side, having published a book of poems titled "Sun the Sea Child" and co-authored an anthology called "Manifestation."
